coil springs for 99 4runner

Would a set of stock coil springs for a 99 4runner sport be of any use to anyone? Do they fit any other models of 4runners? Just looking to get $50 for them.

About 60k miles on them, very little rust. come with rubber bushings and washers. pm or email me if interested.

Can you confirm that these are the full 9 coil front springs?
If you are not familar there were some that are some that are just shy of that, while the true 9 coil actually have more then 9 with the last part of the coil is inactive.

I counted 8 passes on the front coil, 5 on the rear. these are stock, came off a 99 Sport sR5 4runner. picture is one side, f+r, you'll get two of each spring pictured.

Shoot, as hard as I tried, I could not count 9 coils.
These should be the same as I already have on the truck.

Hmm,I'm wondering if the bottom ring would be counted? If it is that would be 9.
I'll have to climb under mine this weekend and count my coils as I know my Highlander has the taller coils.
From ground to fender I'm getting a smidge over 36" front and rear.
I'll have to do a measurement from the center of the wheel to the flare lip as that's more accurate to compare with.

If you count the bottom coil, it still comes up about q/4 turn short of 9, while the 9 coil comes up just short of 10.

Just cant get a full 9 coils out of the softer spring.

Anyone have any stronger 99 coils to sell?

Figures he wants so much for them, though.

I wonder if he has used them with a spacer and already sagged them a bit?

I've asked some questions for you over there.

If they truly only have 6k miles then sagging wouldn't be an issue.

I've got over 30k on my OEM shocks and coils and in the two years it's settled about a quarter inch.


("settled";is that a nice word for sagging? I guess my girlfriend's boobs have "settled":biggrin2: )

I am a member over yonder also.

Used 99 coils go for less and older ones wont sag too much. There is not too much lift to be to had with them anyways for the amount of effort to swap.
Seems like a lot of people go through multiple setups prior to getting a real lift.

So, I am considering some options.
