coilover compatibility with 4runner

Will coilovers off of a second gen tacoma fit 4th gen runner.
looking for icon king or fox shocks and wasn't sure of compatibility.

yes, all 03+ 4runners, FJs, and 05+ tacomas are built on the J120/150 chassis. all front components are interchangeable and all front and rear components on the FJ and 4runner are interchangeable.

Don't some years require modification? i.e 09+ FJ/5th gen suspension is identical but requires modification for 4th gen 4RUnner?

drilling the rear upper shock mount out one size up or so is all

This thread keeps coming up in search results for me -- is it still true that front coilovers from modern tacomas (2022 for example) are drop-in compatible with 4th gen 4runners?

My front coilovers and UCAs are from a 2020 Tacoma and were plug & play. Not sure if anything changed on the Tacoma since then.
