coilovers for heavy front-end (V8, Bumber, Winch)?

I expect to replace my spacer lift/stock coilovers with aftermarket coilover lift kit soon. I have a 2008 4Runner w/v8, ARB bumper, and Winch (i.e., a LOT of extra weight up front). Overland Warehouse specifically mentions that their coilovers are tuned for extra weight like this, whereas I cannot find any reference to this among the other vendors in this space.

Is OW the obvious choice here? I have had my eye on the Icon kits as well, for example, but am concerned it is not suited to the extra weight.

you can get the OME with 886 front coils that will handle the extra 250 lbs. & also get the 896 rears. Thanks Chaz. I had read the OME kit provides a rough ride on the road, though I don't know if this was with the extra weight or not. Sounds like it might be just the ticket iwith all the extra weight since any of the kits that support extra weight are going to have the stiffer springs to do so (including the Radflo).

Sounds like both are just different pre-assembled options of the Radflo product depending on how much weight you need to support. Does this make sense?

Yea that makes sense, I didn't know that; good to know. I want to do a full replacement this summer but I don't know if it will happen with all these trips I have planned. I will have to at least replace the springs because of the SW bumper though.

the thing is how much can you spend? theres a few good adjustable CO out, some pre fer rebuildability, thats great but sometimes harder in a high salt filled part of the country, they also cost more. the cheaspest way is to just install OME 886 coils up front on the stock CO but that setup is not really matched to work perfectly, the rear is another story. i suggested the full OME since u can get the whole thing for about the cost of icon adj. Good thread - I don't have massive bumper or winch but do have a rig that's getin a little long in the tooth. 7 years old this fall and the front is starting to sag just a bit. I can hear more rub during flex and in different situations like backing up. I run the HD OME rear springs and can live with the harsher ride at times cause the ride is world class under load.

I would like to upgrade the front end to cure the sag. I would like a front end set up that 1. did not break the bank 2. not bottom out in the whoops 3. kind of match the back . I wonder if I could match the front with the back set up (OME HD) without a front bumper? I like the idea of plug and play in term of compressing the spring on the shock. How much for just the front setup where they do that part for ya and does that inclued any lift. I don't need UCA and all that CO stuff. Just a good strong srping and shock. What ya think.

edit - the rear is a 3in HD OME with about an 1.5 in custom spacer.

Not under load in this pix but you should be able to get the idea of stance.

u running the stock shocks with the ome rear coils? also are u talking about the radflo for the front? by plug n play i assume u mean put together already so u can just install them, right? if thats so, it kinda sounds like maybe u could use adj.
