does anyone know if a set of coilovers for a 1st gen Tacoma would fit a 3rd gen 4Runner? found a sweet deal on some coilovers I want to replace my spacer lift with.

Thanks

Just in case you want to hear it again...Yes they will work. What kind are they?

The Brand is Leeper, they are basically Donahoe's and the price is 500 a pair plus shipping. They are adjustable up to 3". I think I'll order them on Monday!

I think for that price I'll see what happens. My 4runner needs em bad! I've read post after post on countless sites about the battle between Leeper and Icon, I'm going to remain neutral and add a serious mod to my 4runner!

So you ended up getting them?

I'm very tempted, myself. This may be a ridiculously stupid question, but are these compatible with the rear suspension setup as well?

Just bought a pair. Standard Length. Now to decide what to do with the rear. I want the smoothest setup possible without giving up stability. Any ideas?

So I got tied up yesterday and couldn't order them. I called today and he said someone may be buying his entire inventory of parts so there may be no more to buy! So I may be SOL! this sucks, he said he'd let me know tomorrow. Oh well, if they aren't available I'll order the SS Econo adjustable ones. Should have pounced when I had the chance!

That totally sucks. I sent $540 his way on Monday via Paypal. Hopefully he honors the deal. I'll keep you posted.

I hope he does too! that would be pretty low if he didn't.

He seemed like a pretty good guy on the phone. We'll see...

Now I need to figure out what to do with the rear suspension. I plan on only lifting the front 1.5-2". I want the rear suspension to be on par with the front so I think I'll go for Bilstein adjustables and a smaller OME spring.
