i have a '94 4runner with the 3.0 V6. how much of that re****ed air intake system can i take off? i.e the box etc? i would like to just utilize the pipe that comes out of the engine and retrofit a filter onto that for now. would that work? what about the electrical connections and various other places the hoses run?
