Cold start issues

Out of curiosity, can you guys do a quick test.. when idling, if you turn the fan on (no AC), do your RPMS go up?
I just noticed that today, but I don't think that runner did that after a short drive.

My 2010 bumps up the idle speed like that (without A/C or on defrost) but only when cold, once it warms up it doesn't do it. It's funny you mentioned that because I just noticed it the other day on my truck and tested it twice.

Folks, I have a '15 TE and she's been less than willing to start during the cold days.
Today was the third time when temperatures are hovering around 5 degrees, and it flat out refuses to start via remote start.
Typically starts for a second or two, then dies.
However, when I get in, and just keep cranking the engine, it, eventually, starts and runs fine (naturally a bit rough until warmed up).
Anyone experienced this?

Good day,

I dont think its battery because My 4R will be 3 years old soon, last week -44C/ -47.2 (wind chill) and starts every time; No problem.

Try block heater or remote starter with a full syn oil (my 5 cents).
