Cold transmission?

When I started my 4R this morning I put it in reverse (everything cool) and then put it in drive and it barely moved. Looked down and it was in drive. Put it back in park then in drive again and it started to move, but slowly. Within 10 seconds it seemed to get better and now it is okay. It did get into the 30s last night, but I have never had that problem. She is a 99 Limited with automatic transmission and 157k on it. I'm good about the maintenance, but am ashamed to admit I have never serviced the ol gal's tranny. I'm going to have the tranny serviced Monday. You guys think she'll be okay? I do love her.

Sounds like the you might be low on fluid. Being that old I'm sure the fluid has seen better days.
