I actually think I like that rack more than my coleman. Would you mind posting pics of the whole truck with the rack on? I like its lower profile and the fact that the extension is cheap. The coleman extension cost more than I paid for the damn rack!
 
I ordered that same one from Amazon- good price for a quality rack (others seemed to be more other than the Coleman / Costco deal awhile back). The brackets and size with extension fits the 4Runners perfect! Wonder why they have the Rage name on them though?!

Drove up to Santa Barbara yesterday but didn't put the ferring/ wind deflector on it yet. - it was so NOISY I pulled over and took it down! Hoping it will be significantly better once I put the deflector on it! Sure looks nice - you gotta pull of that cheezy RAGE sticker though!

if it is like the coleman rack, once you have your fairing on you will be good w/ the noise. i never notice mine

and i like that rack lot, i wish i had gotten that one now but i have no complaints with the coleman.

By the looks of it the 20" extension option wouldn't fit on the 4runner? I'd like to have it take up most of the roof.

I'm from Newfoundland! Hospitality is second to none and great food and scenery! :)

I live out west now in Alberta working oil and gas.

I posted a question above about whether this would fit with the 20" extension as I want it to cover a good part of the rack. I think by the looks of your picture it won't fit.

***edit: actually the roof rack secure fasteners can be placed wherever on the rack itself which means this should fit. It would just extend further past the factory rack rails.... right?

That is true you can put the mounts anywhere on the rack i just don't know how much support u would get.
I would like to do that as well being that mine is full with my tire

I guess it's because it's right above the sunroof with the extension- It's a little better with the fairing on but still really loud. I'm going to take it off and just use it when I really need it.

no actually the black widow fits within the rails nicely with the 20" extension...just as I had stated in a different post it's a bit noisy with the wind fairing being right over the back half of the sunroof.
