Meh, Facebook is just a medium and like any other it's mostly what you make of it. Just because you sign up doesn't mean you instantly become friends with all your high school ex-girlfriends and people you didn't even care for then. I ignore most friend requests and remove anyone that posts stupid shit or keeps trying to invite me to help tend their virtual crops or whatever. That means I can join groups like this and not need to ask other people to relay information to me because I'm too cool to sign up for Facebook.

Yeah. That's what I thought about 10 years ago.

Then my Mom asked me "Sign up so you can post pic's of the kid's and tell us all the exciting stuff that happens in your super exciting life!!!!!!"

So I did and right out of the gate I got like 20 "Friend requests".

One of them was the newly acquired female of an out of state friend. So I said sure, we are friends... okay I'll friend you. Mind you his name did not pop up and I had only been on FaceBook for like a day.

An hour later I get an email from her saying the male friend is all upset because I friend-ed her and not him. It snowballed from there.

I am not in Junior High School and have no time for that kind of madness. Phuck Facebook, Twitter and all the other bullshit social media sites.

There. I feel better.

This is perfect thanks for posting here too! I'll sub to this thread if you end up using this one for trail runs. Just got back in town and tomorrow is wife day (she hates going off road hahah) so can't make it. Enjoy though, the aspens are spectacular right now!
