Colorado 5th Gen Owners....

Can some one PM me (or post, if you're willing) with the cost of what you had to pay to register your 5th Gen in Colorado? I will be moving from Oregon to Colorado in about a month and am looking for an estimate on how much damage I'll incure to get license plates. I understand that the vehicle is taxed based on weight and MSRP, but this type of information has eluded my searching. I won't be moving to an area that requires emission testing. I know the exact costs will vary by city/county, but an approximate cost will be very helpful. TIA

divide the taxable value of your truck by 40 and you will have your answer.

taxable value of mine was 30k so I paid 750.

2010 vehicles are emission exempt.

I don't remember off the top of my head but some counties have a tool for estimating the fees. Here's one for El Paso County for Colorado Springs.

I'll be moving to Pueblo County. I wasn't able to find any of the county DMV web sites that listed their rates (although I didn't check them all).

At least its nice to see that my other two vehicles should come in under $100 to register (per the Colorado Springs estimator).

prestone818, I se that you have a SR5. Do you have the leather package? If so, I would think my taxable base should be very near yours.

Yes I do. Msrp was 37, taxable was 30.
