Where are you located? There are a few of us in the springs and there are a dozen around denver. I'm always down for a trail ride and try to set it up once in a while. I'm thinking of planning a ride mid July.

Around the 9th or 10th of July I was thinking we could get a group of Toyotas up to Yankee Hill which is friendly for stock trucks but has some terrain for a challenge. I wouldn't mind making a day of it and packing a lunch and hang out and get to know some other T4Rers. Bring the wife or girlfriend would be good too since my wife wants to go on a run.

Or maybe Red Cone

Slaughterhouse is pretty easy but it's only about 40minutes up 285.

I'd like to stick with something close to Denver for this run.

Im in Aurora,Co I should be ready by July..got some work to do to the truck but i should be done soon.. So count me in.. I cant bring my lady due to her being Prego dont wanna shake the baby ya know lol.. But ya it would be cool to ride with some more 4runners.. dont matter if its all 4runner's it dont bother me any.. but ya up 285 or 170 would be perfect for me.. dont know of a whole lot of places myself..

I will be in CO the last week of July, in both the Telluride area and Salida/Buena Vista area. If anyone would like to meet up and do some drives that would be fun. My 4r is stock so nothing crazy, class 3-4 at the most probably.

I am actually running a trail with your crew this weekend, going to do T-33. It will be nice to meet some of you guys from FR4x4.

If you are going to be here the last week of July, you should check out the Toyota jamboree, it's in buena vista that weekend, sponsored by addicted Offroad. You can also check out RM4X4.org, we welcome everyone but are predominately 4runners.

I'm jealous I AM SAM, I haven't done T-33 yet and while I don't know everyone going Saturday I call many of them my friends. You'll have a good time, regretably I can't make it since I'll be traveling out-of-state. I'll enjoy it vicariously through the run reports.

Ha ha, I am excited to run it. I have wanted to do that trail for quite a while. I am friends with John and Keith, that's my FR4X4 way in. Maybe some other time, travel safe!

I'm in! but wondering if Yankee Hill for example is still snowed in?

Either way I will be ready for mid July.

Not doing Red Cone- frankly that last steep descent scares the bejeezus out of me...and I would imagine Webster Pass still has that washout area just below the top in order to return to US285. (Red Cone is one way only)

You'll have a good time for sure, I wheeled with Keith and John in Moab earlier this Spring, real good guys.

Ron, check the Front Range link a couple posts up, it shows snow conditions on Father's Day.

I'm hoping to do Red Cone, July is as good a time as any!

I want to keep it simple for some of the possible amateurs/first timers that might join us as I'm looking forward to a relaxing day to have lunch and hang out with some new folks as well as a couple I may know so hopefully the snow is mostly melted by July as I don't feel like digging any trucks out.

I'd love to join you guys but I'll be out of state until mid-August. If any of you want to meet up and do some wheeling after I get back, let me know.

I am good for Sunday, July 10 at 10am.

But if you all decide earlier or whatever/whenever -I will do my best to get there.

Looking like solid, gainful employment is coming my way. I will be ready to celebrate the end of many months of unemployment frustration.

keeping things simple, is the best plan.

Simple plan sounds good. I might be in for a meet and greet! I've never been hardcore offroading, just some simple uneven dirt roads that cars would easily bottom out or high-center on if not driven just right.
