you guys and your fancy bumpers make me sick...sick that i don't have the money to get me one :cry2:
Sooo worth savingIf you split into 4runners and "others" kinda kills the commraderee. That is something I have liked about this group from the beginning. Juat a bunch of good people enjoying being out there. A little ribbing on brands but in the end just loving our 4x4's. I also enjoy going out with crashman. If that is not happening..... Might as well just run with the Jeeps. (which also promotes more of the BS like the Jeep that refused help on that last run from a 4Runner! Ya, I really thought that guy was a jerk for not accepting help when you guys offered but I will not leave people stuck(Thanks to those that did help))
24 is a very large group, so splitting would be a good idea but by skill level makes more sense IMHO. Those that want to hit the difficult sections in one group. Those in more stock setups, worried about scratches and looking for more of a family outing can hit the easier sections of the trails. If anybody gets stuck or needs help we can still all look out for each other.

I agree, the logistics of this even will be determaind as we get closer. As far as splitting the group, I figured for a photo opp split for the 4Runners (ie leave a gap between the 2) then fill in the gap for the WHOLE group shot!. Why not have a large group spaced out 20-50 feet apart (not bunched like last time, remember IMO you should "feel" like your trailing alone but when you need help someone will always be behind you in a few min. to assist) meet for lunch, then tackle the harder trail (which isnt that much harder) meet back up at the site and talk about good times for a bit

I really enjoy watching others in front of and behind me flex and negotiate obstacles... sometimes you just don't realize how cool an obstacle is from inside!
