quick question for you guys with antennas at the rear,
did you run the cable inside the cab to the back or underneath along the frame away from moving parts?
does it matter?
I'll be in Northern Colorado during this time, so I prefer something up north if possible. I will make the drive down south though if I need to.
I was looking at pictures of the Argentine Pass, and that route has my vote if it's passable. Looking at GMRS radios now, do any of you guys use that for offroading? Or is it all CB?
Ive seen a lot run the cable in the cab maybe it because it has less chance of damage.

i was thinking "in cab" was the way to go. at least that way i don't have to cut a big hole in the firewall for the coax to pass through.
and I-70 sounds good to me
if we don't get any appreciable snow between now and then, the trails should be passable. knock on wood.
