I'm definitely tent camping up there overnight. Don't know where yet. Any suggestions?

just off a short off shoot to the trail, there is this "roundabout" with room to park like 6-8 rigs in a circle around the campfire, its got a great view. Im sure that some of the Yankee hill vets can point you in the right direction.
Unfortunately, I may not be going now, my 4wd is still broken.

bring 'em along. the more rigs we can embarrass with our runners the better.
Shhh...Keep it on the DL. I know some people have a little animosity towards Jeeps and LR's. Me personally, I've owned all 3 and know they are all capable in skilled hands. It is mainly just a good time with friends, regardless of the vehicle. Plus, it helps encourage them to join RM4x4 and wheel with us more often.

I'll have sodas with me (still taking requests), and I might have some other basics like veggies or something.... unless someone else can think of something we still need.

I have trouble on the forum sometimes...sarcasm rarely comes across in text form.
i'm not one of those guys that have troubles with other rigs....just jeep drivers sometimes. I can pass along that story when we meet up.

it's ~20 miles from conoco to the trail head. i'd guess that would take us 30-45 minutes to get there. the only unknown at this point is how much
standing around and BSing will take place before we head off.
or will most of that take place at lunch??
if we leave fairly quickly (10ish) that puts us at the trail head around 10:45.
