Barring some sort of emergency, I'll be there again this year.

Salida huh? Now thats a place I'm familiar with. I've rafted that river that runs right through downtown a few times. My girlfriend's (Charissa, she was at your party last year) grandparents live up on ute trail way out of town. Their house is for sale actually. 3 bed, 2 bath, off grid, runs on solar and wind power, has a well for water, 60 acres. Cant find the listing right now but it was around $700,000 last time I was there. This is the coordinates 38.610521, -105.943320. Views are pretty nice though

Yeah it was a good time when we were there the year before last. It's still a ways out and I need to confirm with my wife, but I don't see why we couldn't make it out for at least one night.

If you guys have any questions about the event, I help organize the Jambo. Scotty, Christian, and I have been organizing this event since 2008. I want to say the first year of the event was 2001 or 2002.
We will have registration stuff out as soon as it's finalized.

What trails/areas do people usually take while at the Jamboree. Can you give me a rough itinerary of the weekend?
I want to know what trails I can hit before/after the Jamboree...maybe in the Keystone or Ouray area without doing them twice. Colorado is a long way from GA and want to make the most out of it if I can come. Ya know?

The Jambo is a laid back event. Usually people gather around and form groups to run trails either the night before or the morning of. We will have a couple runs scheduled (usually the Friday Holy Cross run and the Saturday BV Carnage run) because of the size of the group that runs those trails. Other than that, it's usually wide open. Find a couple rigs to run with you and just pick a trail.
I would suggest the Ouray area if you are making the trip to CO! All the Ouray trails on in that Trail Damage link above.
