I showed up Thursday night last year in the dark.
I'm thinking I'll do the same this year.
Anyone going late Thursday be sure to enter the gate with the Addicted Offroad banner on it. Last year the first gate I came across (and the one that has the address number on it) is the gate for the property owners personal residence....apparently.
If you look really hard at the closed gate you'll find the code for the keypad written on it... then you can open it and drive up circling a house and wonder why the lights come on but nobody is there except a bunch of barking dogs and the man inside probably loading his shotgun while he glares at you.
The gate for his open property is just a few hundred yards down the same road but not marked with the address just a banner which may be hard to see in the dark.

Still tweaking a few details though I should be getting into CO on Wednesday night. I'm going to stay in a hotel Wed night. Thursday, I plan to do some sight seeing, maybe hit an easy/moderate trail (recommendations?), pickup some local beers (recommendations?), then setup camp at the Jambo Thurs pm. Looking forward to it!

As of now I have a GY shift Thursday night, so I'll probably get off work at 5:30 am and head straight to whatever trail we're running on Friday morning. That's the worst case scenario.
Better scenario is I can get my Thursday night shift covered and head up Thursday afternoon. I would either spend the night at our Cabin and head up Friday morning (camp is 2 hours from the cabin), or just head straight to camp and stay there Thursday night.
Best case scenario is I can get Weds & Thurs nights covered and go up on Wednesday, fish somewhere Thursday, and roll into camp Thursday night.
I need to see if I can pull some strings at work.
