Lindsey and I had a blast again this year!

I just wanted to say a big THANK YOU to [MENTION=63986]Volcom[/MENTION] [MENTION=17736]AddictedOffroad[/MENTION] and everyone else involved in putting on this incredible event.

Wheeled with a lot of friends and made a lot of new ones I'll be seeing around again for sure. Just awesome thanks again.

This was truly an amazing experience. Everything about this event was overwhelmingly exceptional. The scenery, the trails, the event, but most of all the people. After I broke on Saturday, I experienced a level of hospitality, generosity, selflessness, and support never before seen.

To: Aaron [MENTION=63986]Volcom[/MENTION], Jeremiah [MENTION=67615]Dirtco[/MENTION], Chuck, Jamie, Jared, Brian (Front Range Offroad), Scott [MENTION=17736]AddictedOffroad[/MENTION], Nate (Front Range), and everybody who offered help, support, and the many who offered to part out their own rig to fix mine,

You have something special here. I appreciate all of you for letting me be a part of it.

I will also be fabricating my broken parts into a “Carnage Trophy” masterpiece to be given away next year. I vow to not win it, again.

Steve, it was a pleasure meeting you!

For those that don't know, Steve had a spindle and rear shaft issue with his full floater. Some of the guys literally pulled parts from their own rigs on Saturday night to make sure Steve got home okay. Its part of of the wheeling process in our mind. Never leave a guy stranded.

I am glad you made it home okay. Hopefully you can convince the rest of the GA crew to come out next year. This event keeps getting bigger and there might be the possibility of adding another event day next year.

Thanks to [MENTION=17736]AddictedOffroad[/MENTION] for putting on the event. It was awesome hanging out with everyone and meeting some new people.

I didn't have my resident photographer to take 10,000 photos unfortunately, so I'm working on a limited set here from the trail run on Iron Chest.
[MENTION=63986]Volcom[/MENTION] thanks for your opinion on the trail before I decided to run it without sliders.


Everyone who ran Iron Chest on Friday knows this trail turned into a real shit show with all the traffic and lack of pull-offs, but it was a fun trail. Long story short - we had a group of roughly 16 trucks from the Jambo. There was a group of 28 Jeeps coming down the trail as we went up. There is one skinny road to pull off onto and [MENTION=67615]Dirtco[/MENTION] bombed up the trail to head them off after we got out of the Rock Garden. We caught up to Jeremiah and pulled maybe 8 trucks off on this side road before the downhill shoulder was collapsing too much to get [MENTION=88391]NateMob[/MENTION]'s wide front end past. The rest of our group turned around and headed down in front of the Jeeps. A small group remained and made it up the entire trail. I mostly have photos of those who were driving around me, who also ended up being the ones that didn't have to turn around before the top.

I'd also like to give a big thanks to [MENTION=63986]Volcom[/MENTION] and [MENTION=17736]AddictedOffroad[/MENTION] for setting up this great event! I had an amazing time running some crazy trails and meeting new people.

There's too many to list, but it was great to finally be able to put a face to all of the names I simply see on here. Seeing so many different rigs in person was inspiring!

I'm glad you made it home safe and sound without any issues! I'm glad it was worth your time and the drive to make the event. That speaks volumes about the Jambo!

Big thanks to Drew [MENTION=94050]cdrewferd[/MENTION] for helping me load Steve's 4Runner on the trailer and hanging out for a couple hrs with Steve while I ran back to camp to grab the truck and trailer.

I have the broken shaft, you left it on the trailer. You need it? I have a spare spindle, I'd be more than happy to get it to Jamie. It would probably be easier for me to get one to him vs. you shipping one out. Jamie doesn't get on the message boards much. Chuck is on FB so I can get you his contact info.

After all the fun, it was time for the long drive home.

Once again, I had a great time at this years event. It was great to wheel, catch up, catch a buzz, and catch a fish with some old friends and to put some new faces to well known names.

Next year I'm going to try and get a week off surrounding the event so I can spend more time in the area and do a little more exploring. Until then, Viva Les Otter Pops!!!

(PS @ Dirtco , I've been doing some serious craigslisting and I think I've got a line on a unicorn, but a virgin mermaid is hard to find!!!)
