Awesome blog man... just read about your trip. I am jealous... you've done more in Colorado with your Runner than I have and I live here. LOL

An excellent writeup on an awesome trip, enough to make ANYONE jealous. I'll have to run the Colorado vacation idea by the wife tonight!

Nice trip. Colorado is a spectacular place.

I really need to swipe my neighbor's rims off her Sequoia and put them on my 4runner.

Well done mate. Beautiful country. We used to holiday out that way in our Jeep. Need to get the Runner out there! Thanks for sharing man. Makes us want to pack up now and head west!

Nice pics, looks like you got a nice sampling of what the state has to offer.

Remember Colorado's official tourism motto:

TAKE nothing but pictures....

LEAVE nothing but MONEY!!!! :D\

Looking at that picture I had thought it was one of the switchbacks coming off of Red Cone/Webster Pass and heading towards Radical Hill but I see it's Cinnamon. Very nice!!

That is excellent. Very jealous. I only have 2 days recently in CO to wheel. You had way more fun. Glad you guys made it home safe. Thanks for the pictures and stories.

Awesome trip man, and thanks for a good read. Looks like you and the Mrs. had a great time.

I'm going to have to show this thread to my wife and see if we can get something like this planned for next summer.

that is a trip one day i dream of making. great pics. I've watched / read so much about that Black bear . Was it really scary driving down? especially the first part? the food in the pics looked great!

Amazing pictures man!! Great job!! Gotta give kudos to your wife for being a trooper!! You found a keeper!! My wife is the same way, thats why I tied her up and threw her in the back of the T4R!! Thanks for sharing!!

Thanks for the nice comments y'all. I've never "blogged" before but it's been a great way to share the trip with family and friends. We've had some other fun adventures in the past I hope to document on there when I have time too.

Nicely done

What a great trip, and phenomenal documentation!!

You conquered some of the great trails on Colorado, the only one I would have added would be Imojean Pass...

You toured my stomping grounds all the way up to Red Rocks! I went to school just North of Red Rocks, and I now live between Gunnison and Montrose in the mountains. I was actually down in Telluride area last weekend and did Black Bear as well.

Unbelievable pics. You guys obviously had a great time. When I had my Jeep 2yrs ago I planned what looked like the exact trip but never could save the funds. Next year is looking promising though. You guys wanna go again with us next year?
