Compatibility Question

My pa has a 94 pickup (22re, 5spd) that he no longer drives. Head gasket problem. I planned on fixing it but have found a 88 T4R (3.0 Auto). How many of the parts are interchangeable? Hubs, front suspension?It might be for sale too.

Hubs, front and rear suspension, axles and gears. Interiors, exteriors and electronics will be different.

While both rear suspensions are leaf sprung, they are not 100% compatible.

The 88 has a 48" leaf pack while the 94 has a 51" leaf pack.

The hubs are the biggest thing I'm after. But might steal some front susp while I'm there.

I would take a 22re 5peed over a 3vze auto.

22re is better.
if you do part out the 3.0 ill buy the engine mounts and tranny off you.

A 94 would have the ADD 4WD system, so there would be no hubs, ADD uses drive flanges.
But, you could take the manual /auto hubs off the 88 and put them on in place of the flanges.
Front suspension, front axle, gears (F+R) are same.
Rear is slightly different as Hyde pointed out.
