Will a gauge cluster from a 90 4runner work in a 95? If not then will any other gauges work? 90-94 4runner or a pickup?

Yup. There's differences in the lights and such between autos and manuals so it's best to get one that matches, and you want to make sure your oil pressure sender matches the cluster (smaller on/off sender goes with the basic cluster with the idiot light, bigger sender goes with the SR5 cluster that has an actual pressure gauge).

90-95 are compatible but only for common engine and AT/MT variants
3.0 AT will not work for a 22re MT.......and so on so forth.
