New '16 Trail Premium owner. I rid myself of my '04 SR5 and my '92 YJ to get the '16 with it having to pull double duty now. My jeep had a bow rack that ran between the roll bar and kept the bow(s) secured above our heads. Long distance transporting I'll always keep the bow in the case but running around the fields I like to have quick access to it when we are 3D shooting. Unfortunately the only option I've seen to recreate this involves drilling into the roof which isn't something in the cards.
I've seen a set of metal bars that hang off the head rests and have hooks to hang 2 bows off the rear of the seats but it looks to be a bit careless and might only work with certain length bows(my Triax might be too short). It also looks like they kil any rear leg room and hanging them off the rear seat puts them in harms way from other gear. Do any archers out there have any tips or mods that allow for quick bow access? Right now I'm resigned to just keeping it in the case in the rear with the rest of the gear.
