Ok.
Sorry. Carry guns, I will defend your right to do that with my last breath! I am a proud NRA member, but I am calling bull**** on this.
Anyway. Sorry. I had to.
DC, when did i say that crime rate is up? I just wrote that crime is no longer isolated to rundown places and in dark alleys. I can tell you of stories around my neck of the woods about break-in in high end custom home divisions. I take precautions to avoid such. YMMV.
Of course, anyone on the internet can be whatever they want, right DC? :flipoff:
And when you get off your liberal rant, check out this thread:

A few postings:
"Gun Ownership Rises to All-Time High,
Violent Crime Falls to 35-Year Low
Coinciding with a surge in gun purchases that began shortly before the 2008 elections, violent crime decreased six percent between 2008 and 2009, including an eight percent decrease in murder and a nine percent decrease in robbery. Since 1991, when violent crime peaked, it has decreased 43 percent to a 35-year low. Murder has fallen 49 percent to a 45-year low. At the same time, the number of guns that Americans own has risen by about 90 million. Predictions by gun control supporters, that increasing the number of guns, particularly handguns and so-called “assault weapons,” would cause crime to increase, have been proven profoundly lacking in clairvoyance."
"The 31 states that have "shall issue" laws allowing private citizens to carry concealed weapons have, on average, a 24 percent lower violent crime rate, a 19 percent lower murder rate and a 39 percent lower robbery rate than states that forbid concealed weapons. In fact, the nine states with the lowest violent crime rates are all right-to-carry states."
"...yet the facts show that there is simply no correlation between gun control laws and murder or suicide rates across a wide spectrum of nations and cultures. In Israel and Switzerland, for example, a license to possess guns is available on demand to every law-abiding adult, and guns are easily obtainable in both nations. Both countries also allow widespread carrying of concealed firearms, and yet, admits Dr. Arthur Kellerman, one of the foremost medical advocates of gun control, Switzerland and Israel "have rates of homicide that are low despite rates of home firearm ownership that are at least as high as those in the United States." A comparison of crime rates within Europe reveals no correlation between access to guns and crime."
