Confirmed Timing Chain Jumped!

Okay so I took off my valve cover today and confirmed that the chain jumped a tooth.

If I am correct, the light colored chain link should be directly over the dot on the cam sprocket correct? Well its to the side of it, off by one tooth.

The passenger side is tight (i assume thats the tensioner side)

The driver side is loose (i assume its not supossed to be loose)

Why is the driver side loose?

Any input from anyone?

Im confused, On the timing chain itself. (once you get to, or near TDC) there is a discolored link (lighter in color) right? Is there one or two?

I have a repair manual that shows two discolored links, but on this image below it only shows one.

If it has one tis directly over the notch on the camshaft sprocket, if it has two they are evenly over the notch and the notch is inbetween the links.

WHich one is correct?

Btw how do u get it EXACTLY TDC?
I can only get really close like the camshaft notch is at 11 or 1 or clock not straight up

A quick and easy way to confirm a jumped chain is to check ignition timing with a timing light, one tooth off on the chain and the mark is not in sight of the tab. Also a good first sign is a huge loss of power.
