Confirmed. Too many SMS, MMS messes up my TE 2013 head unit.

The radio, head unit, Entune, whatever you call it, was going back and forth between Bluetooth connected, and Bluetooth not connected. Deleted a bunch of text messages off, and it stopped. This is like the third time.

I am pretty confident thats the problem, get rid of all the old texts on your phone you don't need. On Android you can back up your messages with an app from Avast to your google drive, and my daughter said you can do the same with an iPhone to whatever the Apple iCloud is.

How many texts are we talking about?

Asking ebcause I never had an issue with it, but I do not have many SMS's, I use apps like Whatsup for messaging.

I turn my phone off while driving. Prevents that, and other, problems.
