Confred Spacer Lift

i was looking on burtman's site and saw he had had a confred spacer lift (2.5 front/2 rear) spacer lift for sale. i'm thinking about getting this since it will be under 260. i do plan later down the road to replace the coils down the road so i'm not to worried about the sagging right now. my question is since its an extra half inch in the front will this level out my ride since the 2WD models usually sit a little bit lower. here is a picture from the site

I would think so, but I've really never noticed any 2WD sagging.

I think ordering from Burtman would be good, I've heard only good things about him and thats where I plan on ordering my lift from.

i already ordered my clear corners and a few other things from him so i feel more confident with him over some person on ebay.

i just can't find anyone else running the system

Well I have seen plenty with the Cornfed 3/2. Honestly I dont think it would make a difference whether it is 2WD or 4WD.

yea i've seen 3/2 on 4th gens and it looks really good. the only thing i meant by having a 2WD was my front sits a little lower then the back. nothing to do with the lift

Yeah. Well I mean they call it 3/2 because its 2 1/2 in the front. Which should even out the truck a little more I would think. Either way, its gonna look good on it.

yea i know what you mean, i just don't like how some 4runners looked with the rear end so high up.


on a side note, how do you like your brush guard? i was thinking about getting one for looks and to hold some new fogs. i have heard some people complain about theres shaking to much while they drive

Well it does shake. And I talked to the guy who installed it and asked why. The reason most 3rd gens brushguards shake is because there are only two attachments opposed to four like most have. It may shake, but after a day or two I stopped even noticing. I love it.

does it effect the ride in any way? or just notice in the front that its swaying a little? and is it very bad at highway speeds?

Well you wanna know a weird fact. I have ridden in six different 4runners (all my buddys and mine). Five of the six had brushguards and were 3rd gens, and the one without was a 2nd gen. So I honestly wouldnt know if it was effecting the ride at all. But I will say that I see no reason to think it would effect the ride.
