Confused possible pink milk shake?

So today I went to jiffy lube and got my oil changed. While it was getting done I was told my coolant was low and my reservoir was empty. So they recommended I get a coolant flush and I gave the ok. While they were draining it they pulled me aside and said look at the color of the coolant and it was a dark brown color. They asked when was the last time I got it replaced and I have no clue since I got the truck. I remembered reading about the pink milk shake so I got home and check my transmission fluid and it was kind of the same color as the coolant. It there any possible way I am in the process of having the pink milk shake happening to me?

Everything has been driving well no over heating or no problems from the gears shifting from what I can tell. Any input would be awesome.

Doesn't look like a strawberry milkshake...just well used trans fluid. New trans fluid is bright violet. As it becomes older it turns more brownish-red like yours. Toyota radiator fluid is also red in color. If you get the strawberry milkshake it will become viscous like a milkshake. You will definitely know when it happens to you.

well your coolant was originally red correct?

It is not as if you had green coolant and it changed color.

Your trans fluid needs changing. Your coolant probably could use a flush as well. Don't let those quick lube guys do anything to your truck. In fact, never go there again! Their only job is to scare you into spending more money!

Exactly right!!! The few time I had to used quick lube dudes bad things happened. They certainly don't use any lube when they bend you over
