Connect Laptop to TV?

I'm helping some people throw a party in a few weeks and the place where we are having it has a few older TVs. The TVs are the tube style that were around before LED, LCD, and plasma. Because of this is only has RCA inputs.

I need a cord that will allow me to connect my laptop to the TVs. Actually it isn't my laptop, but I've been told it has a VGA connection and of course USB.

Is there any cord out there that will solve this problem?

Appreciate it. I found one on monoprice for like $5. Do I need a convertor though? Somewhere I read that the signal coming out of the laptop may not be the same as what the TV "reads".

Just the VGA to composite (RCA Cables) should work just fine. However keep in mind, VGA does not put out audio; it is only an analog video feed. So if you are watching a movie or something you will have to have a separate cord running from the 2.5mm headphone jack on the laptop to the audio in port(s) (RCA Style plug) in the TV.

That should be 3.5mm, not 2.5mm.
