Considering an '05 4R...

Hello all,

I've been reading thread after thread today and I must say, this is a great forum. I haven't even bought the vehicle yet and I'm already making a list of future mods! I flipped my Sorento about a month ago, so I am now considering a 4R. I found a 2005 4x4 Limited w/ V8, nav, leather, and 44,791 miles for $22,500 out the door. Carfax is clean, one owner w/ plenty of scheduled services at the dealer. I skimmed through the 3rd Gen buyer's guide and assume there are similar issues/items to look for with the 4th Gens? Anyway, just curious if anyone has any hangups w/ this year/model and/or if you think the price seems fair. Any input would be greatly appreciated...

Welcome to T4R.ORG! I am not sure about the price since I haven't researched them, but I have a 2003 V8 and love it. I think you would be really pleased with that one.

I think its a fair price, but you need to/should talk down to around $20k. But sounds like a well taken care of/good runner so don't walk away. I'd comfortably pay $22.5 if they don't budge, but please get them to at least $21k. (Depending on area).
