Considering moving to Colorado, opinions?

Actually saw that show on animal planet where the dwarf guy called pitboss went to Colo. and this gal had a pitbull as her therapy dog and was walking it in a park in denver when these guys in van drove thru the park and took her dog away I guess animal shelter people blew my mind , that's all

Lastly, legalizing marijuana runs the risk of destroying large companies desire to locate themselves in Colorado. What employer wants to deal with a bunch of stoned employees? Or ask it's executives to move somewhere that has a "pot head" culture. Just my $.02. I now lay myself out to be railed for expressing my thoughts.
On another note if you get out here look me up and let's do some wheeling! Just be straight if we go, I don't rely on high or drunk people to pull me out

Honest question: Seems like if the company had an antidrug policy then they would test for it and it wouldn't be a problem.. For example tobacco is legal here in Alabama and two of the largest employers are starting to drug test for nicotine. So seems like the same could apply at the workplace in a pot legal CO.

Sounds like CO west of the divide would probably be what you're looking for. Tons of terrain, good people, a decent amount of work- maybe check out the oil/natural gas companies if you know your business around metal fab/welding. its also fairly sparsely populated- nothing like the front range.

I think it's funny and shortsighted to think just because we tolerate weed that everybody in the state smokes pot and is stoned all the time. Just because one smokes weed does not make them stupid and irresponsible and a lot of them even own guns. When it comes to weed most non smokers don't have a clue about the culture and base their ideas on propoganda and unfounded myths. Just as many people enjoy alcohol responsibly there's the same that responsibly use weed.
