Considering the Satoshi...

I've got a dark chrome front grill that I tried painting back in the day (bad mistake, don't do it). Some of you might have pulled it off, but I certainly did not.

I then found the rattlecan of the gods: Plasti-dip.

I've also got dark chrome badges on my truck, but my front emblem snaps broke off, so here's my current front end:

And I've got 'bronze'ish wheels:

Now, I didn't spend much time on this (this is just in PHOTOSHOP), but wanted to get a rough feel for what my ride would look like with a satoshi mod. And keep in mind, I'd paint my satoshi the same color as my wheels, to tie everything together. So, roughly, after I would do it, it would hopefully look BETTER than this, but let me know what you guys think.

I am toying with using a blackened TRD logo in the bottom right, as well as, or maybe not, the TOYOTA badge in black across the middle.

Definitely different. I don't think I've ever seen one done in that color. I personally wouldn't like it for my own, but I understand your direction.
Again, personal taste.. I think the Satoshi, and other like grilles, look unfinished when you don't have the TOYOTA emblem across the front. Even with just the TRD looks incomplete, but it's better than being completely blank.
To each their own though, those are my opinions.
I think too, you can't go cheap when you're doing it. You can find a lot of cheap emblems out there, but cheap can ruin the look of the work you've done. Fork out the money and get a good one. Mine cost me $65. Chump change to some, but when the entire grille cost me $100 in total to make, that's an expensive emblem.
