Just got a 5th gen TEP and looking to get a console vault

Looking at Console Vault or Locker Down. Which one do you feel is better?

I have a safe by Gun Vault, its the Mini Vault model specifically. It doesn't fit in the center console, but it does fit perfectly behind the driver or passenger seat. You can also lock the safe to the frame of the seat so it cannot be removed easily. I like it because I still have easy access and use of the space in the center console.

i've owned both in different vehicles. They are pretty much the same. Buy the one you can get a better deal on.

I just installed a Console Vault a few weeks ago. I looked at both and agree with [MENTION=151737]mrblah[/MENTION] that they are so similar it is difficult to differentiate. If I remember correctly Console Vault was having some type of promotion going that made it a few $$ less expensive (not cheap), so that's what I went with.

It's been a great addition and provides great peace of mind for valuables and fire arms.

I just installed the lock'er down last week. I bought it off of amazon for $269 free shipping with 4 digit combo lock. A little cheaper that console vault with the combo lock so that is why I went with it. Great product, packaged perfect during shipping. My buddy has the console vault and they are practically the same.

Slips right in. Just remove the 2 screws inside, drop it in and install the 2 new screws in the same spot. 5 minute install

Keep an eye on eBay. I got a near-perfect used Console Vault for $160 shipped.
