I think I will order OPOR sliders next month. no drilling, but will have them powdered coded comes to $600 KDSS friendly.

Hey guys... Wanted to add my recent install of metaltech4x4 sliders MT to this discussion as this was the thread I used to make a decision on my buy....it came down to either budbuilt or MT or shrockworks.. Went with MT due to their military discount and not having to wait so long for the sliders to come in ... My selection emphasized on a straight bolt onto the frame, MT's were installed in about 45 mins with the help of the wifey ...

Found this thread has perfect timing for me. Just bought a 2011 and we were test driving it last night. Wife said she wished there was something to step on to help get in (she is a little short). I immediately told her I can take care of that. And her we are.....

Got some hrew white knuckle sliders in the other day, had 'em made more flat instead of that angled up since it'll be a road queen for a good while. Anyone got any install tips? Maybe a link to an install thread?

for the record, the OP (me) went with Shrockworks step sliders because:

1. They are well built
2. They are located in Houston
3. I wanted a step-slider style
4. I don't mind waiting

I have to say, i'm very happy with my OPOR sliders. Did the install all by myself, in about 30 minutes.

Thanks for the thread. It helped me as I went to it many time this week.

Today I made a 4 hour round trip to Demello to pick up a set of hybrid bolt on sliders. I called and they held one set of three that was on it's way to powder coating so I could pick it up. Someone must have taken a quick look at my 4Runner because they cut a slot for the KDSS while I was waiting. They have a nice 4Runner just like mine that has all their stuff on it. It looked great.

They also included the hardware and gave me a forum discount which I wasn't expecting. If you would like to order from them I guess it wouldn't hurt to call them instead of just ordering online.

Now to paint and install them by this weekend's Big Bear run.

I wouldn't mind getting it for the price. =)

I went with the OPOR Sliders
1. Compatible with XREAS
2. Fit Limited side rockers
3. Nice clean design
4. Affordable with discount at that time
5. Had positive feedback when researching

I'm planning to run a different set up soon since I will be converting the 4Runner to a non Limited

Thanks for the list...am looking for a set that I like with my kdss option.

Hefty Fabworks seems to make a nice set her in CO. Had a set for my bronco that worked well.

I got a pair of BAMF sliders. They now offer ones that are compatible with KDSS.
