I guessing you installed these yourself, bolted them together and bolted them on the truck, do you feel they would be able to handle the weight of the truck if you were to put a HiLift under them and jack one side of the ground?....and how do feel about the amount of hardware required to put them together....do feel they would "drag" over an obstacle?

I did install these myself. And it was a huge pain that took me 10 hours. I'm not sure if it was any more of a pain than any other slider (I've heard they were all difficult), but if I were to do it again, I would find a lift and two buddies (I did this alone, stupid, I know).

There's something like 12-15 bolts in the sides alone bolting them to the frame and 3-4 (don't quote me, going off memory here) on the bottom. I personally think they would be fine jacking them up on a Hi-Lift, they are solid and stout and bolted with a ton of hardware.

However I have not tried it yet. A Hi-Lift is on my list!

Shrockworks required drilling one hole

FWIW- It was "optional", but I drilled one hole on the front passenger side when installing my Shrockworks sliders on my 2016.

How do you like the Demello hybrid sliders btw? Any more pics?
 
Got my CBI sliders with kickouts painted and installed. I was worried that I would need to wire wheel the sliders prior to painting, but as they assured there would be very little scale or rust and they were right. Nary a speck of rust to be found. The only strange thing IMO is the rather large holes cut for the bolts. I ended up getting larger fender washers and the sliders mounted up with no problems whatsoever.



These were the supplied bolts and washers.

Those CBI's look nice, coltm4! I am surprised to see the holes so much wider and elongated than the bolt diameter, though. Is that pretty typical across manufactures of sliders?

I wondered the same thing, but a friend says that isn't unusual. Maybe others can chime in.
 
Someone else probably can identify these steps but I am unsure what brand they are. Any suggestions on who makes these?

I finally wrapped up my slider project this weekend. I knew what I wanted, and had a shop cut the steel up for me. I welded them together and sent off for powder coat. Posting here just to show what else can be done, and to thank [MENTION=131444]C4 Fabrication[/MENTION] for the help with the mounting plate and hardware. They were very helpful and responsive, and saved me a lot of time. I know I could've gotten them a bit higher, but just didn't want to lose the rocker trim. I'm happy with how everything is coming together. Thanks to all who have helped get me this far.

i have no idea, seems like maybe an "RE" on the step. Also is is just me or does that slider step already look bent???

I think you are right on the bent part. Just below the front step it looks like there is an indention.

With enough time and beer, anything is possible! I wish I got C4 to make my frame rail brackets! I had mine on and off soo many times while reverse engineering them, so they would fit just right. I still need to take a hair off the rockers

Ha! They were nice enough to sell me a pre-drilled plate and the bolts, but I cut the brackets myself. It did take some time to get it aligned just right.
