WOW! 100+ views and no opinions?? I bought them anyway. Discount Tires beat the price from Tire Rack and with all the install extras I still got out for under $550. Should be installed midweek because they had to order them. 265-65-17 is such an oddball size. Your choices are very limited for white letter tires in that size, unless you want the crappy Dunlops.

That tire got pretty good reviews on Tirerack dot com. I think I will be checking them out in another month. The Dunlops don't seem too bad, but the tread is starting to get toward the depth I'm not comfortable with for winter driving- which I do a lot of on the highways.

I am somwhat curious about these too. I have it narrowed down to either these or the Yokahama Geolander H. The Tire Rack guys were pointing me toward the Yok's. My OEM Bridgestones are up to about 38,000 miles and still have more tread left than I would have thought at this time. I am surprised considering how hard I am on tires typically. I never got close to this many miles before. Chevy truck I had years ago got <20,000 miles on Bridgestones.

I was ready to pull the trigger on the Yokohamas too, but they don't come with white letters in 265-65-17. I know many people don't like the white letter look, but I do. The Continentals look good, are a 65K mile tire, and are reasonable priced. They are not Michelins, but they don't cost $200+ either. BTW, my Dunlops have about 47K on them and are still not to the wear bars. They are just worn pretty badly on the outer edges. The steering needs alignment.
