Contura Switch install into dash?

My 4R

Anyone know if the V Series Contura II switches will snap into the factory switch locations on the left side of the dash?

OTRATTW

I have a blank in the very lower section of the dash I would like to put a switch in. I thought I read a post that someone installed them, but I didnt remember anything about them snapping in with no modification to the vehicle plastic?

they will fit with minor modding, I used a dremel to take a small amount off of the surround of the actual switch, works great, and otrattw is a great company to deal with

They do not fit. If you look at Okki's build he shows that they don't fit.

As adio3X already pointed you to my build thread, let me add a little detail here. They DO NOT fit in the OEM locations without modifications. The width is generally not an issue , but the height is. If you use the factory hole that is low on the left side of the driver dash, you will have recess issues as well. If you are planning on using that location (where I have the blue compressor switch) send me a PM with your number and I can give you call to talk through the issues you will run into and how you may address them.

You have to trim the dash a little as they are bigger.
Here's a couple I put in and I put a factory 3rd Gen fog switch in the lower blank. It was bigger too and had to trim it also...........http://www.toyota-4runner.org/5th-gen-t4rs/67094-fog-light-headlight-concerns-2.html#post696802
