Converting base A/C controls to Climate control?

I am looking into swapping out my base model A/C controls for the upgraded "climate control" controls. Is this just a simple swap of the in-dash reciever or is it more detailed?

If you mean the digital CC like in the limited it involves more than just the dash unit. You need the temperature sensors placed in the cab to tell the unit how much heat or cold air to put out. And of course any wiring required to connect them, I would just leave it as is.
