Cool Cars Thread

Fisker Karma.

The fisker is a good looking car, too bad they went under so fast.
There is a company installing the corvette ls9 engine in them, 650 hp.

Hopefully someone will bail this company out with a boat load of cash, it is a very cool car.

The Tesla model S is very popular in Los Angeles, i see them daily. It is a good looking car as well.

I can not tell you how many Raptors i see in the city, and i bet none of them have ever been off road. But i would still like one.

Man, here in NY we have been getting blasted with a heat wave and i guess it's still snowing in Jersey!

So I figured I'd throw up some pictures I took at a Land Rover specific shop where I sometimes get my work done. They specify in Land Rovers but will work on other makes and models. There are a lot of frame off restorations and full builds going on. They seem to know their stuff.

I've seen that place in a few ebay ad's, looks like a cool place, not sure i'd want to get work done there considering they work on land rovers i can only imagine the hourly rate. :frisky:

I was quoted $700 for them to replace my wheel bearings and hubs. I think that may be on the higher side. Judging by your user name, I take it you have a Land Rover? D90 to be exact? I love the D110's.

Couple years ago my dad had a 90, thats how i got into rovers, i have a 1974 Land Rover Series 3 88". My friend has a 1993 D110, it is cool, but the D90's are way more fun and agile.

$700 sounds a little high for 2 wheel bearings, but if its it OEM/Geniune parts i could see it creeping up there.

That's awesome. I'd love to get one. They said it'd be the same ones they use for the Land Rovers. I guess they fit into the 4Runner.

.... haha well (a bit more detail) someone with 10+ years industry experience vs my 2 years drives this brand new 2013 Blue Nissan GT-R ...

I don't know anything about Nascar, but this one looks like a Nascar Camry or someones project of some sort.

Bentley Continental GT. When you live around here, these are kinda common to see. Lots of old guys buy them for their wives to drive, at least in the Newport Beach area. Someone elsewhere, though, might enjoy this.

The only thing I enjoy about this photo is that you're driving the 4Runner!
