yeup, he runs a harley rental shop for all the tourist in the valley... i dont think its actually a driver yet... but he has several small radial engines like it. he is always tinkering with something BA

Yeah I know he's got the Harley shop behind the gas station. It would be awesome to see the thing drive though! Scary as sin but fun!

This has to be the coolest lowered car in the Springs and its a girl that drives it. Both front fenders look like plaid flannel..kinda hard to explain, but it looks very cool. I think the D ring and tailpipes are stupid but otherwise she's done a nice job! Maybe she needs the D ring to get pulled over a speed bump ound:

And to be clear, Ricer is not japanese, a rice is somebody who takes a car and modifies it in the cheapest way possible. Most often done to Honda Civics with a rattle can exhaust, cut springs, and usually rocking steelies. This definition has spread and basically now covers anybody that over modifies a lowered car in a hideous way.

Example. Subaru Wrx, Sti, or Forester XT. Japanese. Most common mod is coil overs, and an exhaust. phenomenal cars. Honda civic. Also Japanese. Most common mod, Cut springs, shitty exhaust. Rusted Steelies/and or pink rims on a piece of shit body.

EDIT: To be clear, I am saying that the term came from the japanese honda civic, but a "japanese" is not a ricer. Many ricers just happen to be Japanese, which is what created the term... if that makes sense.

To be clear: the term 'ricer' comes from the fact that rice is a staple of the Japanese diet. It started out as a derogatory slur but has since become a generic term for vehicles of Japanese origin.

1971 Pontiac Gran Prix SJ, spotted it at the tire store today. Can't begin to tell you how CLEAN this thing was, and the paint felt like butter. Owner said he did a full restoration on it, and it sounded so good when he cranked it up to leave.

i would agree more with quatre .
I would add though, it is argued wether the style orginated in socal or japan first.

Yes u are right about it originating in Japan. It quickly caught on here due to the large Japanese community. The largest outside of Japan.

I'm sure its a wrap, theres a place in town that does them. Theres a Scion thats almost fully covered in what looks like bumper stickers, except its a wrap. Its cool to look at but never ever to drive.
