New to this Forum . Hello , My 2001 , 4runner has some coolant leak coming from front of the engine . It seem to first collect right where the oil pan / wiring harness under the crank pulley . Then it runs back and drip right at A/C compressor. I think the originating point is foreward ( engine / wind force it to run toward the rear ) maybe water pump ? I couldn't see the peep hole or trail of coolant running behind the fan pulley either .
Talked to the driver ( my wife ) she says she has notice small spot of fluid where she park but only during a short drive . All sign points to water pump failure . Is this symptom common as the pump fail ? Where else could the coolant comes from ( no sign of leak around local hose and clamp either ) ? Any advice will be appreciated .
