Cut your fan belt?

This is supposed to happen, your fan runs off your serpentine belt system and will always be spinning while your engine is on. This is the correct function unless your fan clutch is seized, which will lead to violent vibrations at high RPM and eventually turn your fan into a grenade. Ask me how I know.

You may notice its louder at start-up and quiets down after a few seconds. If it doesn't quite down you may have a seized fan clutch.

ok so Im gonna feel stupid but yes the clutch fan? and whichever one is only supposed to come on when the engine gets hot. I know its not right for one because this is my second 97 t4r and the other one was not this loud. you know how it sounds at start up when the fan kicks on well mine is that loud allllllllllllllll the time. it almost sounds like i have a monster intake on it. lol

Your T4R has a belt driven fan not an electric fan so if the motor is running your fan will always be on, if it's not then you have a problem.
