Thought I'd let everyone know that the Cooper A/T3 is only $114 for the 265/70/17 at Discount Tire, plus there's a $70 MIR. Yes, its for the SL rating but if it's good enough for Engineer1 it's good enough for me. 
I believe they are usually in the $135-$150 price range.
How do I know? I blew a tire on the Touareg and had to replace all 4, so naturally I bought with the thought of taking these off the Treg before I give it back to VW and putting them on a T4R once I can get one. (Keeping the 3 good tires and I'll turn it in on the donut as the 4th)
