Searched the forums and not much on the new Cooper Muds. Trail4R 35s article is helpful.

Any feedback is appreciated. Looking to pickup a set of 295/70R17. Other option is the popular Cooper STT Pro which is $40 more per tire and Cooper website rates STT Pro better in every category.

Diameter - MT: 33.46" STT: 33.46"
Weight - MT: 59 STT: 66

Not a daily driver. Tires will be mainly for dirt wheeling and of course those long LA freeway drives to get there in the first place...

I have no info on this tire, but just an FYI.....

The info you listed above for the Evolution MT is for the 295/70R18.

For the 295/70R17 Evolution MT's, the diameter is 33.46'' @ 59 lbs.

I suspect the STT is a stronger and tougher tire. For dry climate off-roading like we have here in Socal, I'm not sure an M/T offers any benefit other than they look awesome.

The STT is the smarter choice, I think.

I went from Cooper AT tires to Patagonias because I wanted something that looked old-school. They are fun to have, but they are loud. Not sure I will get them again.
