I know people have brought up this site before. Just did a quick search and thought someone in the Chicagoland area might be interested in this one.

Rear end damage, but just a little over 100K on the odometer, plus it's supercharged.

I bought my parts 4Runner from Copart. The prices on the auctions leading up to the day of sale don't mean a thing. Only the auction on the day of sale dictates the price. Won the auction for $2,450.

What you don't know is that you'll end up with about another $1,000 in fees, plus shipping, etc...

You have to hire a broker to allow you to bid, then you have to pay the broker fees as well.

For the right vehicle, I suppose anything is possible. Someone can always go the Singtoe route and buy two of the same vehicle off copart, followed by repairing one and parting the other. As far as I know, he made a profit from the two Sequoias and actually made money from his V8 swap.

Heh, maybe someday. Are you planning to buy a car from Copart?
