Cordovan Mud Claw?

Has anyone had experience with these?

I have a friend who can get me a set of these in 285/75/16 for $600 installed. I'm not expecting them to last a long time since they are a cheaper mud tire.

I was just wondering if anyone could chime in on how the are with on-road driving? Decent in rain and such.

I currently have Treadwright mud terrains, so I expect them to not perform as well as an All Terrain tire would. But I don't want something that is awful. I haven't seen too much on these tires.

Just curious if they are a decent tire.

Experience? No. But reviews online are similar to other comparable shoes out there and they have that whole "cheaper than most" thing going for them. I'd say if your expectations range from decent on-road and average off-road then they do the job. IMO that means they are fine for my application. FWIW.

Also just noticed that Discount Tire has a $100 off thing going on right now. Trying to decide if it's worth spending a couple hundred extra to get tires that I've heard positive reviews about.

I haven't seen any reviews on those tires directly, but most of the Off-brand M/T tires I've seen only end up lasting less than 30K miles before they're junk, You're better off in my opinion to spend a couple hundred more to get a set of tires you know will last 40-50K.
