Just picked up my first 4R! 2006 T4R Sport Edition w/158k. I am loving it!!!! A few things to do to it:

Of course I'm moving my helo wheels and nitto Tera grapplers (265/70/17's) over to the 4R.

I have HID's in the canyon low and hi (9006 and 9005), so of course that's the first project to go into the fog and hi on the 4R.

I'm selling my truck to my brother and he finagled me into letting my system go with it (pioneer DVD HU, ported box with solo L7, and a hifonics Brutus amp). I have the JBL in the 4R and since my wife asked me "are you going to "grow up" and be more of a dad?" I probably won't do anything just upgrade the HU. Nothing fancy just need something I can plug my iPhone in and go.

I found a Daystar kit (KT09115BK) for $160 on amazon.

Maybe a few interior LED's.

Seriously considering getting my gauges done to white.

That's gonna be perfect for me really. Nothing too extreme, but want to make it mine.

Got my HID's in, sorta.
One of the 9006 lights is still stuck in the canyon. I've tried everything. Ended up getting a little jolt, so I gave up tonight that's why only one fog light is hid.
halogen lows (gotta order some)

When I got it there was some surface rust and was a big eye sore.I knew it'd be an easy fix.
So I covered the body, sanded it down and shot it with some high temp manifold paint (flat black).

Found a 03-05 SE 2wd at panera bread to park beside (perfect timing). The mom didn't mind me taking pictures until her daughter started saying her I like your wheels. I think her daughter didn't see the wedding band on my finger.

Anyways... I'm loving it. I had to drive to Houston, a buddy is an oil field mechanic and was in for 2 weeks and said he could do it no problem. So from Nacogdoches to Houston it's like 140 miles or so and I averaged 22.5 there and back on the gauge. Did the hand numbers and I got 21.12 mpg. Not that bad

Thanks guys! I'm thinking about seeing if I can get someone to build me a bumper around here for cheaper than I can buy one online.

Had a little fun in town...

Couldn't go crazy of course. Besides being in the parking lot at the theater, I had my little one with me.

The wife would freak if she saw this pic.

i love plastidipping... i want to cover the world in plastidip and then peel it off

I know that's right! I actually was going to do the whole lip on the lift gate, but it pulled too hard and started coming off. So I decided to scrap it, but then the circle around the yota emblem stayed so I kept that. Like the way it looks too.

Added my TRD stickers to each side... The drivers side with the gas tank was a little bit of a challenge... See if you can tell where I messed up the letters...
