Cornfed (or other spacer lifts) install instructions?

Howdy everyone -

Ordered my cornfed 3/2 last week and am waiting for it to arrive. In the meantime, does anyone know of any instructions online that has step by step directions with pictures? I've searched here, but haven't been able to find it. I've seen quite a few before/after, etc, but nothing with good instructions. I'd like to review them before I start the install. Hoping to do all of this over the 4th of July weekend and then get tires installed the week after.

Thanks for the info. I will keep an eye on the ABS wires on the rear wheels. I'm really more concerned about the front end though, as it is quite a bit more involved. Any other tips/tricks to make the install go smoother?

Front is not hard. The most complicated / potentially dangerous thing to do is disassemble and reassemble the shocks. Just take your time. In all honesty if you are mechanically inclined you should be fine. It was harder for me to install my sliders than the cornfed lift.

Good to know. Not sure what you mean by dissasembling the shocks. Are you talking about the whole strut/coil spring assy?

The only thing I'm really worried about is the XReas system, but it's supposedly not really that big of a deal to use the spring compressor in the wheel well without disconnecting the shocks.

Yeah by "shocks" I meant the whole coil assembly. I took the front out and worked on it, I suppose that depending on the coil compressor you are using it could be done on the truck. Worth looking into.

What is the best way to separate the ball joint? Is it really necessary? The Daystar instructions say to do it, but the cornfed instructions do not mention it.

Got the rear installed tonight... went pretty smooth, although I have no idea how you could get the coil and new spacer up in there without using a spring compressor. Thankfully I already had it for the front, so I compressed them down and they went right in.

Front is getting done on Sunday (if it stops raining) and then tires Monay....
