Like many of you, when I bought my T4R, I was offered all these options and protection plans, one of which was some type of paint protection plan. I don't recall the details as I usually turn off my brain when it comes to things like extended warranties and extraneous protection/prevention plans. I did however hear that it protected against oxidation of the paint. My attention rose at this point. So I asked him, what colors are more proned to oxidation. He says, silver.
Is this true? Does anyone have personal experience with their silver rig? What have you done for prevention, and when it did happen, what did you do to fix it?
I'll mention one last thing about the guy I spoke to. He's the finance manager, so I wouldn't say that he's the most reliable source, but at the same time, I would think he'd have some statistical information so he can make his pitch more effective. Ah...maybe I'm over-thinking it. What say ye?
