Yeah but on the otherhand there is a locker on the trail ed. Do the regular 5th gens have a rear locker option or just a CDL?

I looked at all the buttons on the trails and limited and I saw nothing that said locker...

I can't say from firsthand experience, I was just stating what I read in the article.

The limited has a CDL and torsen center diff, SR5 and Trail are part time 4WD. Trail comes with a rear locker which is not available on the other models.

The article mentioned the Limited doesn't have a low range. I can't imagine why Toyota would change that, so I am thinking the author is mistaken.

I posted to the 5th gen forum and called the Limited a girly crossover, I expect we'll have our answer shortly.

I think this is new to the 2014. I look at all of my pics from the inside of the Limited I took, and I suck so bad that there is not ONE single pick of the 4x4 sifter.

Mode 1 : Center diff Unlocked / Normal full time 4wd
Mode 2 : Center diff Locked / High range
Mode 3 : Center diff locked / Low Range
