I do have rubbing at full lock. Its rubbing at the back side of the fender/frame. Its kinda embarrassing when i flip a ***** or turn into a parking space... but i love the way it looks

Looking really good! Rubbing......Which Pro Comp wheels and what is the backspace?You will probably rub less or not at all without the Spidertrax. Your probably rubbing on the mud flap.

I'll just post what I was told by pro comp about these wheels. They will not fit the 5ths without spacers, the way they concave, they'll hit the calipers without spacers. These were the wheels I wanted when I first got my 5th, I wish someone made a 17x9 alloy similar to this design. I think the kind he has are the steel series 52.
Def look awesome on the truck though!!!

@adio3x exactly why i had to use the spidertrax.
Do you guys think that if the spacer wasnt as thick, maybe .75", I would still rub? Its not rubbing any plastic just the subframe? What if i were to get 285/65/17s? Or UCAs?

You might be rubbing the body mount. I know I was until I put a bit more caster in with the UCAs. When you get it re-aligned ask them to put more caster in and that should help with the body mount. Then get the dremel out and cut away. And you will find even more rubbing when you get it dirty, I know I sure did. LOL
If your wheels are the right backspacing I would take your spacer out. That could help too.

truck looks awesome. Like a cool little toy. ha. I love the wheels but disappointed that you have to run the spacers with the wheels. They are steel yes? Are they heavier than the stock wheels? I'm bouncing the idea around new wheels but not if heavier, plus the weight of the huge tires and spacers. You must have taken a big MPG hit. though it does look killer!

I agree the MagGrey is fresh. I have a black trail too. Like it also but hard to keep clean. I swear the wax i used actually made swirl marks. have to find another brand and redo. I love the look of your truck, I think the black trucks might look better with silver wheels. Not sure about all black out. I'm getting new tires, the 285s you have and lift look so aggressive with the lift. Mine is my daily driver so may just add front leveling kit, and some Toyo MT's (super cool looking and quiet on the street) think that will improve the look.

Looks good I love the color combo I have a bias opinion though. To bad you have to run the spacers to run those wheels it is because they wheels are lug centric rims and the 4runner is meant to run hub centric wheels correct? At least that's what I was told when I wanted those wheels for my old 4runner.

do you know what your backspacing is? i'm on Truck Parts & Jeep Parts - Lift Kits, Winches, Tonneau Covers, Tires, Wheels, Bumpers, Performance ? 4 Wheel Parts and their site says that the 17x8 and 17x9 with 4.5" back spacing fits my truck.. so i'm unsure if they made a new wheel to new specs now almost 3 yrs later or what.. thanks for your help!! i'm trying my best to avoid using spacers
