I have some courtesy/rock lights wired as shown below. I did @%1; J.A.s map light mod and tapped into that. I used the first relay to convert the negative trigger from the dome to a positive trigger. Then the second relay is for the lights. The lights will come on when the car is unlocked/door is open just as the dome lights do, as long as the switch is on. I also have it so I can turn them on whenever.
Basically everything works as its suppose to except when the relay is triggered it makes a weird electric/buzz noise coming from the ECU under the hood. I figured this meant power was getting back fed and I needed a diode. So I put a diode between the relay and map light trigger and it still buzzes. What am I missing? :shrug:
